Make the switch to Merrick–it’s well worth the price!
My dogs are crazy about Merrick dog food – I mix it half and half with Merrick Classic Large Breed Real Chicken, Brown Rice and peas Dog Food. I was feeding my dogs Kirkland kibble from Costco before and my dogs were having several problems getting sick and barfing yellow stomach fluid. In addition, they were having allergy problems. Since making the switch to Merrick, I noticed my dogs coat improved and my dogs seem overall healthier and happier.

I am by no means a dog food expert, but we did some research and this appears to be a good brand. It is also grain free. A lot of other brands use grain as filler in order to make a cheaper product. When my dogs eat food with grains or high carbs they seem to be hungry for the rest of the day.

My picky toy poodle likes it—-most of the time.
Good ingredients and my picky toy poodle will eat it most days. That in itself is amazing. He eats it best when I mix in some freeze dried dog food. He won’t eat either of them alone everyday but combined he’s happy. And I thought children who are picky eaters were challenging.

My English bulldog loves it! I have always fed him taste of the wild but this was on sale so we tried it. Wow what a difference. His coat is shiny, he feels better and no more itching. This is my go to from now on. He is a picky eater and dogfood is only his last resort. He loves this. I’m telling you this is worth the money! Having spent tons of money at the vet for allergies, nothing seemed to work. Three weeks on merrick and he is like a different dog. Jowls gives it 2 paws up.

Higher quality than commercial dog kibble. Pieces are annoyingly small. Pup ate it but wasn’t motivated by it. This is a problem because food motivation is your best tool for training. At the same time this food was introduced my pup broke out in hives and couldn’t stop itching. Can’t say for sure it was the food. For the price I thought it would be better. My pup is now on orijen amazing grains puppy food and absolutely loves it.
